Say Cheese

Photographs, books, newspapers cuttings, love-letters, trophies, certificates are a gateways to our past and present. Its a fun trip down our memory lanes :) It is a collection that is brazenly positive, built with a sense that the goodness, which it encapsulates, is meant to transcend time and pour itself out for generations to behold. They are triggers for pleasant memories. All this is part of our mind and is seen through our eyes!

Our eyes are said to be the windows of the soul and they truly are, they can either make us look dull or gorgeous! Our pictures say it all, we just need a "say cheese" for it.. A smile worth a million words and eyes telling it all. If you want to look within yourself just go in front of the mirror and see your eyes they will provide you with all the answers you require.

Looking deep into your eyes or another's, can be an uncomfortable experience because not all of us are prepared for the reality revealed. If we try to dwell deep withing our eyes they reveal the truth that none of us are ready to face. We can fool the whole world and even ourselves into believing  whatever our mind wants us to believe, but the accusing look, the hurt in our eyes will pull us up sharply. As it is said, "Eyes mirror our souls, actually they don't. They have been carved out of our souls."

The mother transmits her love to a baby through her eyes. Even the domestic animals find comfort from the loving gaze of their master. Poets sing of the laughing eyes, sparkling eyes, liquid eyes, languishing eyes, drilling eyes, speaking eyes, and so on. Romance is talking of love with your eyes .The silent language of the eyes is wonderful indeed. Words fail to convey the expressiveness of the eyes. With no words, the eyes are still eloquent. Their silent speech...

The different hues of our eyes make us see things with its own color. It colored our past with either a brighter hue or a darker one. It is coloring the present with things it wanna see, the colors they emit from themselves. If we go through our own pictures we will notice the changes in our own eyes, some emitted shimmer, some thunder, some shock and some pain. Similarly, just look at the other's eyes. It reveals the thoughts of . . . lust, greed, hate, love, kindness, compassion. Interestingly, when we look deep into another's eyes, we not just see the other's beauty, but even our own mirrored in theirs. They reveal all, only we have to be observant enough.

We use our eyes most of our time in admiring the outer surface of worldly things, and do not care to see the very soul of the matter that lies hidden underneath which speaks of the Great Creator, the creative life-principle, without which even the surface beauty cannot exist for a fraction of a second..
